The Demand for Full-stack in Technical Roles is booming enormously

The blockchain job market witnessed a noticeable growth in demand for technical roles in January 2025. In comparison to the previous month, the proportion of hiring demand for technical roles decreased slightly from 45% to 43%.

Salary range:

• Fresher: 8 – 15 million VND
• Junior: 15 – 20 million VND
• Senior: 30 – 50 million VND

For technical roles, there was an incredible growth in hiring demand for Full-stack positions from 20.4% in 12/2024 to 28/6% in 1/2025. This indicated that companies are focusing on recruiting employees with diverse skills and experience. Backend and Frontend positions also made up big slice of the total technical roles, accounting for 20% and 17.1% respectively.

Moreover, the demand in hiring AI Engineer positions was also increasing, demonstrating the potential of technology trends in the application and combination of AI and Blockchain technologies. In addition, specialized positions such as Mobile Developer, Solution Architecture… are also significantly demanded.

In terms of work experience, most employers are looking for Senior personnel, about 2 times higher than the demand for recruiting Junior personnel. Key technical positions included: NodeJS Developer, Full-stack developer, Backend Developer… 

 

Career tips:

• NodeJS Developer: Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript, deep understanding of Node.js, Experience working with popular frameworks, database queries, API Development.
• Full-stack developer: Ability to multitask and proficient between frontend and backend tasks. Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL. Ability to evaluate and improve user interfaces.
• Backend developer: Proficient in backend languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or PHP. Deep understanding of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

Marketing Positions continue to grow in Non-tech Job Market

In the first month of the year, the hiring demand for Marketing positions continued to occupy the largest position among the total number of Non-tech jobs with a proportion of 34.8%, a sharp increase compared to December with a proportion of 25%. In particular, this figure was 19.6% when comparing the total number of Tech and Non-tech jobs recruited in January.

Operations roles also saw a significant rise, ranking second in the total number of Non-tech jobs with a proportion of 19.6%. In particular, the typical positions are Accounting, Recruitment and Assistant.

In addition, January 2025 also saw the appearance of a variety of positions in the Non-tech field such as Trading analyst, Business Analyst, bridge engineer, IT Comtor… this shows that blockchain companies are considering specialization and partnership development as an important task. This reflects the trend of integration between technology and business.

• Junior: 15 – 20  million VND
• Senior: 30 – 60  million VND

Active Job Market in Vietnam’s Major Cities

In January 2025, the Blockchain Jobs in Vietnam market was primarily concentrated in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, representing 45% and 27% of roles, respectively. 

These cities host a large portion of Vietnam’s blockchain companies, driven by strong tech infrastructure and a deep talent pool.
