Finland-Vietnam Labour Mobility Connect: Promoting global Talent Connection
On January 14, 2025, BlockchainWork was honored to participate in the Finland-Vietnam Labour Mobility Connect Business Forum, organized by Team Finland and Work in Finland in Ho Chi Minh City. This event aimed to enhance cooperation in international recruitment and labor mobility between Finland and Vietnam.

Highlights of the Finland-Vietnam Labour Mobility Connect
The event, held from January 13-15, 2025, marked the visit of Mr. Arto Satonen, Minister of Employment. He was accompanied by a working delegation of Finnish businesses, recruitment organizations, healthcare service providers, universities, and local government representatives.
The program in Ho Chi Minh City included several significant activities, such as:
- Opening Remarks: Delivered by Ms. Johanna Jäkälä, Executive Director of Business Finland.
- In-depth Discussions: Insights into employment opportunities and labor market dynamics from Finnish leaders, including Mr. Juhana Vartiainen, Mayor of Helsinki, and Ms. Pipa Turvanen, Employment Director of Turku.
- Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony: Hoa Sen University signed an MOU with Metropolia University of Applied Science, affirming a commitment to educational collaboration and skill enhancement.
- Business Networking: Opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to directly connect with Finnish partners in healthcare, hospitality, industrial manufacturing, and information technology sectors.
Ms. Johanna Jäkälä shared, “Since 2018, the Finnish government has gradually implemented talent attraction efforts, identifying five key market with promising talent pools, including Vietnam, Brazil, India, the Philippines, and Europe.”

At the Finland-Vietnam Labour Mobility Connect, BlockchainWork highlighted Vietnam’s blockchain industry and its technology workforce’s strengths to Finnish partners. Ms. Tien Le, CEO of BlockchainWork, who studied and worked in Finland and now promotes the blockchain community in Vietnam, shared:
“Finland is known for its advanced education system and has been ranked the happiest country in the world for seven consecutive years. Meanwhile, Vietnam boasts a young, hardworking, and eager-to-learn population. The collaboration between Vietnam and Finland will foster significant development opportunities in education, labor, and cultural exchange. Vietnamese youth and experts will increasingly access opportunities to study and work in Finland.”

BlockchainWork will continue to collaborate with partners to expand high-quality job opportunities in the blockchain sector and strengthen cooperation between Vietnam and international markets.
