TINGNECT – BUILD FOR BILLIONS: Building Web3 Unicorns Requires Solving Billion-Worth Problems and Strong Community Foundations

On August 16, 2025, BlockchainWork was honored to attend TINGNECT – BUILD FOR BILLIONS, hosted by the Ting Foundation at Rex Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City. The event brought together hundreds of founders, investors, and technology experts, marking the launch of two new products from Ting Foundation:

• Ting Application Chain – an advanced Web3 infrastructure platform

• TingNect Card – a digital identity solution enabling users to connect seamlessly to the Web3 world

Representing BlockchainWork, CEO Tien Le joined the panel discussion titled “Building a Network of Billions of Users – Billion-Dollar Companies”, alongside experienced speakers including Niklaus Tran – Co-founder of VDBG, Lucid Hoang – Founder of UFIN Labs, Erik Duong – Founder of Web3 X, and Jake Seltzer – Managing Director of Quantix Capital, moderated by Celinn – BDM of BYBIT.

A highlight of the panel discussion was the strong consensus among the speakers: Web3 is no longer just a game of technology, but a journey of creating real value for the community and solving problems at scale.

A company can only build billion-dollar value if it creates a product that solves a billion-worth problem for a large number of people. The community is not just made up of users – they are co-creators who build value alongside us. This perspective was unanimously supported by all the panelists. Building a sustainable Web3 ecosystem requires a community connected by trust, aligned interests, and actionable ownership, where every individual plays the role of a “co‑builder.”

In her remarks, Ms. Tien emphasized the importance of redefining talent strategies for blockchain companies after 2025: “From 2025, your team will not only include human employees – but also digital employees powered by GenAI. Talent management is no longer just about hiring the right people, but about hiring the right people and AI staff that fit the company’s stage and culture.”

She also shared insights from Vietnam’s blockchain talent ecosystem, where BlockchainWork is taking the lead: “Vietnam is entering a golden phase. With the legal framework for blockchain applications and digital assets expected to take effect in 2026, now is the time for companies to invest in their teams and systems, to be ready for the coming market wave.”

The panel ended with practical advice, offering guidance on talent, technology, and development roadmaps for blockchain startups in the coming years.
