BlockchainWork visit Japan Blockchain Association – Strengthen web3 talent ecosystem

On 27 August 2025, BlockchainWork founding team met with representatives of the Japan Blockchain Association (JBA) in Tokyo for a focused discussion about practical ways to connect Japan’s Web3 companies with blockchain talents in Vietnam, enhancing market insight exchange between Japan and Vietnam.

The conversation covered three practical themes: market intelligence, hiring access, and member outreach. Key outcomes agreed during the meeting:

• Market briefings & reports. BlockchainWork will provide reports and insights on the Vietnam blockchain labour market (hiring trends, talent supply, skill hotspots and practical guidance for recruiters). These briefings aim to help Japanese employers understand where and how to recruit effectively.

• To lower the barrier for trial hiring, BlockchainWork committed to offering free job postings to JBA and its member companies till end of 2026, enabling employers to test recruitment channels without upfront listing fees.

• Member introduction & promotion by JBA. JBA agreed to introduce BlockchainWork’s free posting and related employer services to its member network through its member-connecting programme, events and communications (newsletters, event promotion, etc.).

Japan has an active Web3 startup and enterprise scene but continues to experience skill gaps for specialised blockchain roles. Vietnam is producing a steady supply of Web3 engineers and product talent. The collaboration is explicitly pragmatic: combine localized market intelligence with low-friction hiring access and JBA’s member channels to enhance cross-border recruitment.

About Japan Blockchain Association (JBA)
