BlockchainWork and Nguyen Tat Thanh University Sign MOU to Develop Blockchain Talent

Ho Chi Minh City, September 23, 2026 – BlockchainWork Joint Stock Company and Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation in education, career development, startup support and scientific research for the blockchain – Web 3.0 industry. Having first worked alongside the University at its Business Networking Meeting in October 2025, the two parties have now formalized their partnership to bring students closer to careers in blockchain and Web 3.0 and to deepen their collaboration.

Blockchain talent partnerships: a strategic priority as the market becomes regulated

2026 marks a turning point for Vietnam’s blockchain and digital asset sector, as it moves from waiting for a legal framework to actual operation. The Law on Digital Technology Industry (Law No. 71/2025/QH15), effective January 1, 2026, brings the concepts of digital assets and crypto assets into law for the first time. Under Government Resolution 05/2025/NQ-CP, the crypto-asset market is being piloted for five years; as of August 2026, five companies were completing the required conditions in the licensing process.

As the market moves into official operation, talent has become a major challenge. The National Strategy on the Application and Development of Blockchain Technology to 2025, with orientation to 2030 (Decision 1236/QD-TTg), identifies human resource development as one of its key task groups, including bringing blockchain into university curricula. Demand is not limited to technical roles either: according to the Vietnam Blockchain Job Market Report 2025 by BlockchainWork, based on 1,029 real job postings, 53.4% of hiring demand came from non-technical positions such as business development, marketing, operations and community. This opens opportunities for students in economics and management, alongside technology students. The partnership between BlockchainWork and Nguyen Tat Thanh University is therefore of strategic importance in building a sustainable talent pipeline for the digital economy.

The two parties agreed to move forward with cooperation in the following areas:

• Education: BlockchainWork provides supplementary learning materials and introduces experts and speakers from its partner network to share knowledge, models, tools and hands-on experience from real blockchain projects with NTTU students and lecturers.
• Career development and job connection: The two parties co-organize academic and career orientation programs. BlockchainWork connects students with suitable companies for site visits, job shadowing, internships, graduation theses and employment.
• Startup support: BlockchainWork supports student startup projects as well as the University’s programs and events related to blockchain, Web3 and technology applications.
• Scientific research: BlockchainWork works with NTTU students on research projects and connects businesses to apply the results in practice.
