Challenges of scarce human resources in the blockchain industry open up opportunities for breakthroughs
The global blockchain market is growing strongly with a CAGR of 65.5% (according to MarketsandMarkets). The demand for blockchain human resources is increasing, leading to high recruitment and training costs, becoming a major barrier to the development of the industry. Vietnam has emerged in the region with a young technology workforce, a high rate of cryptocurrency ownership, many projects in the blockchain game and Fintech fields reaching world stature.

With the leadership of Ms. Le Ngoc My Tien, CEO – Co-founder, and the founding team including Mr. Eiji Shioda, Mr. Koichiro Abe and strategic advisor Mr. Phan Trung Hieu, BlockchainWork was established in 2021 with the mission of being the leading blockchain human resources community in Vietnam and reaching out to the world.
BlockchainWork operates the community platform “blockchainwork.net“, connecting free blockchain-web3 specialized job information. We have signed cooperation agreements with more than eight Vietnamese educational institutions. From the very beginning, we have also actively participated in organizing, speaking at many blockchain-related events and updating reports on the latest trends and experiences related to blockchain on the information page “insider.blockchainwork.net“, constantly connecting members, creating a strong network in the industry.
Message from CEO BlockchainWork
“In 2021, a question loomed large as we launched BlockchainWork: how do you attract top talent when you’re a startup? Our answer: mission and core values.
We firmly believed that building a strong blockchain talent community was crucial for the industry’s growth. This principle became our guiding light, connecting not just employees, but also partners, customers, and investors who shared our vision.
Over the past three years, BlockchainWork has grown significantly to become the leading blockchain talent community in Vietnam. 70 talents have joined and contributed into the growth of BlockchainWork. But the journey wasn’t without its hurdles.
I still recall the early days of launching the “blockchainwork.net” platform. There was a time that we had more recruiters than applicants. This didn’t deter us. We actively engaged with both sides, gathering feedbacks and refining our platform. Through countless conversations, the value we aimed to create became even clearer: providing a dedicated and efficient space for the blockchain and Web3.0 community to connect faster, grasping more opportunities.
Focusing on this community proved to be the key. Today, BlockchainWork stands as Vietnam’s leading blockchain talent platform. We’ve established partnerships with over 8 educational institutions and a network of over 200 businesses. We actively participate in industry events, sharing our expertise and fostering collaboration.
Recently, BlockchainWork successfully secured seed funding from strategic investors in Japan. This vote of confidence, coming amidst a challenging fundraising climate for startups, is a testament to our vision. The capital will be used to further strengthen our network and empower the Vietnamese blockchain workforce.
We are incredibly grateful to our partners and community for their unwavering support. We believe blockchain technology, with its emphasis on security, transparency, and automation, is the future of the digital world. By fostering a strong talent pool, we can unlock this industry’s potential and shape the blockchain landscape in Vietnam and beyond.”
